After 12 years of driving down Sligh Ave and wearing plaid skorts, I am officially a graduate of Cambridge Christian. While I have been an official "alumnus" for a week, it still has not hit me. I still feel like I'm going to walk down those brick-lined halls and see the students I've gone to school with since 1st grade.

As graduation day approached, I was convinced that I would be consumed with sadness for leaving behind such a huge part of my life. However, after going through all the graduation events and receiving my actual diploma, I'm not filled with regret or sorrow. All I feel is excitement. I am ready for the next chapter of my life. Sure, I will miss cheering for football games and lunch with my friends, but there is so much new coming my way that I do not think I will wish to go back to high school days.
